What exactly is Forever Analog?
My name is Aaron Hartley and I started Forever Analog as a way to celebrate my love for all things analog.
I’ve been collecting records, cassettes, 45s, turntables, receivers, speakers and more my entire life. When my family travels, I always look up the local record stores and drag everyone along with me to go shopping.
Years ago I started DJ’ing weddings for extra income and even though I no longer work weddings, I still enjoy a night out DJ’ing vinyl at a friend’s bar or record store.
I’m frequently asked questions about vintage audio gear and decided to start answering those questions here as a resource for friends and anyone else looking online for how to set up their turntable or figure out why their stylus sounds bad or even why vinyl sounds better than Spotify.
Feel free to read along and search through the archives for how to articles or even just my favorite 45 finds.
I sell records on Discogs and I have an Etsy Store where I make shirts for fans of analog gear and gifts for music lovers.
Also, please sign up for our mailing list below and you will receive a 15% off coupon for our Etsy Store.
Sincerely,
Hartley
